About Subraya Kalkura
Subraya Kalkura is an experienced Architect having worked in a wide range of projects in the UAE and the ME region over the past 18 years. An avid academician and gold medalist for academic excellence in the architecture discipline from Mangalore University, India, in 2001, he secured an MSc in Sustainable Design of Built Environment from Cardiff University in 2012. Subraya currently leads the Architecture and Engineering Studio of John R Harris Partners in Dubai, which is part of the Aukett Swanke group in the UK. With a passion for sustainable design, he has contributed to several large projects of the practice as a sustainability advisor. Notable projects that he has worked on include HSBC Bank refurbishments across the UAE, Deutsche Bank refurbishment in KSA, Retail Developments in Dubai Festival City, Hill Housing in Dubai Festival City, Sharjah English School, Safa School, and various ultra-luxury private villas in Palm Jumeirah and Emirates Hills in Dubai.
