About Ar. Ayca Ozcanlor
Ayça is a registered architect in Turkey and joined Arup in 2008. She has over 23 years of experience working in the Façade industry with extensive experience in project management. Her area of interest is ETFE design and technology. Her experience as a façade specialist has enhanced her in detailing and designing various façade/roof cladding systems, and she has been involved in many major projects in Europe, the Middle East, East Asia and South East Asia regions working with renowned architects, developers, and specialist façade contractors.
Currently, she is leading the India portfolio in Arup and working on a large-scale mixed development project in Singapore.
She had a part-time tutor role in the National University of Singapore (NUS) Architectural Department and was enthusiastic about the academic experience.
She is passionate about Gender Diversity and has been in collaboration with UNWomen to launch STEM events jointly with Arup and other industry leaders, governmental bodies such as Lend Lease, LTA, and URA.
She is part of the regional and local Diversity & Inclusion committee and involved in Culture & Ethnicity and Gender Diversity portfolios, respectively.
She chairs the Quality Executive and Arup Management System Committee to be part of the change towards technical excellence for Arup.
She is a member of the Women in Business Committee in the British Chambers of Commerce.
