Sophie Campbell

Sophie Campbell is an award-winning practitioner with extensive project and practice management expertise, developed through senior management roles in the UK over the past 11 years. She has experience of leading large multi-disciplinary design teams across a variety of project typologies: from education, mixed-use, to residential and wellness, in all phases of the design and delivery process. Her expertise lies in the area of education. With a particular interest in a sustainable modern method of construction, specifically Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT). Her first CLT project, the Open Academy School in Norwich, was the largest cross-laminated timber panel structure in the UK, on completion in 2010. Prior to joining the Gensler team, Sophie worked for Sheppard Robson Architects for nearly 15 years.
