About Amit Palia
Amit Palia is an architect with 23 years of experience, specialising in airport terminal development, including 15 years on international airport projects. He has worked extensively across India and the Gulf and completed a course in Terminal Planning and Design at IATA, Singapore, in 2018. He has delivered solutions within complex airport environments across construction, design, and operational stages, covering greenfield developments, new terminals in brownfield settings, and upgrades to existing airports. His primary focus is on passenger terminal buildings and their landside connectivity. He has a keen interest in wayfinding signage, artworks, retail development, and space optimisation to improve passenger flows. He began his airport career in 2008 with the construction of Terminal 3 at IGI Airport, New Delhi, and has since worked on projects in Muscat, Mangaluru, and Noida. He has recently started on his next airport assignments at kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
