TROSIFOL® SPALLSHIELD® CPET

Trosifol® Spallshield® CPET is an advanced two-layer composite glazing solution comprising PET and a highly durable hardcoat. The hardcoat offers excellent chemical, abrasion and scratch resistance while maintaining optical clarity and a glass-like appearance. Engineered for lightweight anti-spall performance, Trosifol® Spallshield® CPET creates an effective inner protective shield that helps safeguard occupants from glass spalling and potential laceration hazards.

Spalling refers to the inward splintering and projection of glass fragments when glazing is subjected to significant impact, such as from an external object or projectile. By helping contain these fragments, Trosifol® Spallshield® CPET provides an additional protective barrier between the glazing and building occupants.
