About Ar. Behzad Kharas
Behzad Kharas, Chairman & Managing Director of The BNK Group, spearheads the organisation from its Mumbai office. A great high-ranking student of architecture who won numerous awards as a student, he graduated in 2002 from Rizvi College of Architecture and worked with Architects Hafeez Contractor and Pronith Nath. He started his practice in his hometown, Nashik, later shifting his base in 2007 to Mumbai.
Renowned for his multidisciplinary approach, Behzad seamlessly integrates every aspect of a project, from design to execution. His journey was never easy, with too many failures and struggles, but that never led him to give up. He is equally known for his inspiring entrepreneurial journey and his unique ability to overcome any challenge, in life or in business. Over the past 20 years, he has driven The BNK Group to new heights, delivering designs for over 500 high-value projects.
Today, he is considered a peer to many, an influencer in the design industry, and a man with a strong ethos. Guided by unwavering values and a vision and philosophy to be “humane, honest & humble”, he has led the group to where it is at present. Behzad’s mission is to enhance lives through innovative spaces, earning the loyalty of clients who trust him to deliver against all odds.
