IFC One Saigon – As the third tallest building of Ho Chi Minh City at over 185 meters with 42 stories, IFC One illustrates the city’s elegance, dynamism, and vibrant spirit through its architecture. The distinctive feature of IFC One lies in its double-skin façade system, inspired by dragon imagery in Vietnamese tradition. The riverside façade incorporates multiple layers of triangular modules, creating a mesmerising dragon scale effect. Furthermore, the use of seven different colours creates gradients on the façade, evoking the image of a dragon gracefully ascending toward the sky.

To accommodate the curved glass elevation, over 1,000 dragon-scale frames were designed and manufactured into 20 different modules. Each frame extends at the top for sun protection in tropical climates and tapers at the bottom to maximise panoramic views. The largest triangular panel measures 3450×4800 mm and weighs up to 500 kg. Despite the complexity, BM Windows completed the comprehensive façade installation in an impressive 45-day timeframe. The project’s double façade aligns with sustainability trends, delivering long-term energy savings by enhancing sound attenuation and shading coefficients, ensuring optimal comfort & convenience.

The rear of the building is covered by a 2-hour fire-rated stone-colour cladding system, which is optimally designed in unitised panel form. The Crown floor’s system combines wavy white aluminium cladding shaping a crown with sparkling light like stars in the galaxy, forming the classy beauty of the project. To save energy, the solution implemented is using the 3-layer glass box system, a high-class brand from the United States. Lotte Mall Hanoi – Lotte Mall boasts a rich architectural design and a flexible façade language, while still maintaining unity within diversity. The integration of box-shaped blocks enhances the volumetric presence of the façades, while in the tower block, these box-shaped masses are strategically arranged in a cascading manner, ensuring an expansive view of the interior space.

The façade is the “language” expressing the individuality of each project, interfering between art and technology as well as manifesting the vision and brand values of the investors. At Lotte Mall Hanoi, BM Windows has created a unique distinction through every façade detail. In particular, the hexagonal panelling of the shopping mall area is one of the typical imprints that occupy the entire visual focus. 8000 hexagonal stainless-steel plates with different curvature radii were shaped and machined 100% in 3D. With high aesthetic requirements, the entire production and assembly process was done at the factory to ensure absolute accuracy.

Inspired by the graceful movements of dancing notes along the river, The Opera intertwines nature, time, and people in a magnificent symphony of life. Emulating elegant motions in the air, the 24-story twin towers feature a dynamic façade design with high complexity in both architectural and technical aspects. A “unique” design plan combining the Unitised – Strip window system was developed on this idea. The untypical façade design of the project demanded a unique approach from the BM Windows design team, involving over 30 façade elements and 108 different-shaped aluminium molds. Consequently, the entire façades are composed of four types of unitised systems, including panels with up to eight glass panes, shifting on both vertical and horizontal movements.
