Luxury Shoe Boutique

Rapport, Hyderabad

Seldom retail spaces are designed around nature and daylight, but when they do, it creates magic. Rapport, a premium footwear store located on Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, is an ode to outdoor views & daylight. The creation of internal spaces, structure and architecture were all driven by maximising views and harnessing the abundance of daylight it offered. The capturing of light happens in a manner that funnels right across the store and fills the store with energy and positive vibes, perfect for creating an outdoor environment inside the store.

The store concept was conceived during the initial onset of COVID-19, with the thought of what should a shoe store be like post-pandemic, when people have been at home mostly during lockdown months. The façade & store interiors were designed to be a space which was highly urban, transparent, open, non-intimidating, inclusive, nature friendly yet exclusive in its own domain.

The store façade is a transparent skin to capture maximum daylight inside the store and to create an outdoorsy environment, to be in one with nature.
