FunderMax’s rear ventilated facades potentially improve buildings protection against noise pollution from outside. However, in this system the air cavity is almost totally open, fully ventilated and not very wide.FunderMax’s ventilated facade systems are increasingly common as they are light easy to install and have the above advantages in new and renovated buildings. The facade systems improve the protection from direct sun radiation due to the double envelope and the ventilated air cavity that refrigerates the heat. They reduce in the transfer of humidity from rain to the building as the ventilated air cavity dissipates excessive humidity.

With FunderMax panels, one could achieve 51 per cent opening with Back Filler of Fibre Glass insulator which increases the performance of our panels to 0.6- 0.7 NRC value. These panels can also be used in auditoriums where we require NRC of 0.15 with out perforation .

The STC values can be increase by increasing the thickness and perforation and providing insulation to absorb noise. Depending on the thickness of the insulation layer, measurements of the panels and the proportion of open joints, noise protection can be increased by up to 14dB.
