Lingel Collaborates with SankalpTaru to Reduce Carbon Footprint

Lingel, a German-based brand that is known for its quality products, innovation, and efficient customer service, has joined hands SankalpTaru foundation to help their customers to reduce their carbon footprint. A tree plantation drive was organised at Manesar in the presence of Mario Schmidt, Managing Director, team members from various regions, architects and customers.

To create awareness, encourage and request customers to participate in this great cause of making the place carbon-neutral, about 100 trees were planted. Speaking on the occasion, Mario Schmidt, Managing Director said, “This initiative will be a success only if our customers also participate in the drive and we are encouraging them to spend a little more to wave off the carbon footprint on their purchase. In our efforts to make our company carbon neutral in Germany, we have installed roof covers with solar panels.

In this way, we are producing more energy than we are consuming and providing electricity to the grid. This is an initiative we are planning to run very devotedly for generations. I am also waving off my personal carbon footprint created due to my frequent travel with my own tree plantation, that is more than 300 trees are planted every year in Germany.”

Through this campaign, Lingel is creating awareness about what an individual can contribute to reduce global warming. Lingel with different partners has calculated the amount of carbon emission is created for different products during its journey.
